The gite is an old workers cottage that has been renovated with a comfortable and contemporary feel with tasteful decor and has all the mod cons you would expect from your holiday home. Le Petite Pommier is a self-catering gite that can comfortably sleep up to 6 people within three good sized bedrooms and is ideal for a family looking to enjoy a relaxed and peaceful holiday.
The gite is set out all on one level on the ground floor with an open plan living area that contains a lounge area with a sofa and two comfortable Scandinavian style chairs arranged around the wood burning stove and TV. The dining space has a dining table for 6 people opposite the fully equipped kitchen area, making it a sociable space to cook and dine together. The bedrooms, shower room and toilet all lead off from this space.
The gite is attached to another gite, which will be opening for bookings in 2025 and both properties are set within the grounds opposite the owner’s house.
There is a 13m x 5m shared heated swimming pool at the rear of the gites for use by guests only and not accessed by the owners. Also by the pool is an area for playing boules and a covered space for playing badminton and ping pong.
The gite consists of:
• 1 kingsize bed and 2 twin bedrooms (four single beds), each room has a large fan, bedside tables and wardrobe.
• Bedlinen is provided at the start of your stay
• 1 separate WC with toilet paper provided that is suitable for the fosse septic
• 1 shower room with ecological toiletries and cleaning products
• Washing machine with ecological washing liquid
• Towels for bathroom use are provided at the start of your stay

• Vacuum cleaner, bucket and mop
•2 Hairdryers are provided within the property
• Kitchen/lounge/diner with a sofa, 2 high backed chairs, dining table and woodburner
• Table linen is provided and tea towels are provided
• The fully equipped kitchen comprises of an electric oven, 4 burner gas hob, microwave, dishwasher with ecological tablets provided, coffee machine, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, crockery and utensils supplied
• The house has air-source central heating and controlled mechanical ventilation (VMC)
• Free on-site parking
• High chair and travel cot available on request
• Free wifi and tv that you can connect to your own streaming service account
• Shared heated swimming pool (13m x 5m) and surrounding area with plenty of sunloungers, pool towels are not provided please supply your own.
• Private small garden at rear with bbq and a small terraced seating area at the front of the gite with access to a tree-lined garden space.
• Use of facilities around pool area – badminton net, ping pong, boules

Angoulême - An attractive and lively city famous for its International Comic Book Festival held every January and the classic car race the "Circuit des Ramparts" held every September. You can wander through the streets and see if you can find the twenty-odd painted walls of street art dotted throughout the city.
Local markets :
• Chenaud – Thursday evenings 17:00 – 19:00 is a local producers market selling organic produce and supports the local growers in the community. The market is held at Chez Ragot, 2 Route de Saillant, 24410, Chenaud.
• Riberac Friday mornings until midday and is the largest year round market in the Perigord region, selling local produce, jewellery, clothes, linen & lots more.
• Coutras Saturday mornings until midday,
• Aubeterre-Sur-Dronne Sunday mornings until midday
• Chalais Monday mornings until midday is a typical French street market selling local produce, jewellery, clothes, linen & lots more
During the summer months there are often producers markets will local food and produce available to purchase and eat on-site and there are also night markets. It is recommended to check local information for the dates of these.
